Service Terms & Conditions
Service Scope
Bayls & Ko provides the following services:
Website design and renovation
Social media management and content creation
Logo design, branding, and brand kits
SEO optimization and Google Business setup
Digital marketing and advertising
The scope of each service will be detailed in individual project briefs, and specific service terms will be discussed with each client as per their needs.
Payment Terms
Payment is due in two installments: 50% upfront to confirm the booking, and 50% upon project completion.
For unfinished projects due to client delays, a monthly holding fee of R800 will apply starting from 1 November 2024.
Payments for services not specified in the initial project brief will be discussed and agreed upon separately.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are required to:
Provide all necessary brand materials (logos, social links, login credentials) upon receipt of the invoice.
Participate in one round of content review for social media posts. No unapproved posts are to be published by the client due to analytics tracking.
For website renovations, clients are expected to handle product uploads unless otherwise agreed.
Verify Google Business accounts by searching their business name, following the attached steps, and providing confirmation for SEO setup and optimization.
Portfolio Use
Bayls & Ko reserves the right to use client logos, website designs, and other branding elements created for showcasing their portfolio, social media, and promotional purposes. Client privacy is respected, and no sensitive information (passwords, private data) will be shared with third parties unless explicitly authorized by the client.
Revisions and Approval
Clients will receive two mockup designs for website renovations. Any further revisions beyond the agreed mockups will incur additional charges.
For branding, once the design concepts are delivered, one revision round is included in the package. Further adjustments will require an additional fee.
Project Timelines
Project timelines will be communicated to clients upon initiation. Delays caused by the client (e.g., failure to provide necessary information or approvals) will extend the project completion date and may result in additional fees (e.g., monthly holding fee as outlined above).
Refunds and Cancellations
Refunds are not provided for services once the project has commenced. If the client cancels after the first installment, no refunds will be issued.
In the event Bayls & Ko is unable to complete the project due to unforeseen circumstances, clients will be offered alternative arrangements or a partial refund based on the work completed.
Confidentiality
Bayls & Ko is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all client information and data. Passwords, login credentials, and any other sensitive data provided by the client will be securely stored and not shared with third parties without explicit permission.
Third-Party Integrations
Bayls & Ko integrates third-party services (e.g., Shopify, payment gateways) into client websites as part of the package. Bayls & Ko is not liable for any downtime, malfunctions, or issues arising from these services.
Social Media Management
For social media management, the basic package includes 9 posts per month, and the premium package includes 12 posts per month. Clients are allowed one round of review per month for amendments. Analytics tracking will be used to measure performance, and content strategy may evolve over time based on data analysis.
